Further fall in China lysine prices

Lysine prices dipped furtehr during the week ending March 6.

Feed millers were not eager to increase lysine stocks while consumption was slow. Moreover, feed millers withhold the purchases in view of lower inclusion rates of amino acids.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were mainly in the range of RMB12.90-13.50/kg.

Both domestic and export demands will be slow in the coming period. Increasing inventory will pressurise lysine producers to negotiate prices to stimulate sales.
