DSM launches soy peptide project in China

DSM N.V. announced the launch of a soy peptide project in China after it signed an agreement with Zhongshi Duqing Biotech Co., Ltd. and China National Research Institute of Food and Fermentation Industry (CNRIFFI).

ZSDQ will operate the facility transformation and quality management in line with DSM's requirements.

CNRIFFI will provide technical support to coincide with the corresponding product application and marketing.

DSM will utilize its existing sales and marketing network to channel the soy peptide product branded by DSM to Chinese and overseas markets.

Alexander Wessels, business group director of DSM Food Specialties, said the cooperation is another step towards innovation in the life sciences sector for DSM.

It also demonstrates DSM's accelerated shift to a life sciences and material sciences company.

DSM is a multinational chemicals company with headquarters in the Netherlands. The company's activities are grouped into nutrition, pharma, performance materials and industrial chemicals.
