South Korea highly likely to resume poultry exports to Japan
An official at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry stated on Monday that South Korea is highly likely to resume the exports of chicken and other poultry to Japan in April.
Japan halted quarantine inspection of all poultry imported from South Korea in December after the discovery of the low-pathogenic H5N2 avian influenza virus at a duck farm in Gwangju, 329 kilometers southwest of Seoul.
