China launches beef improvement center

 

 

China's National Beef Improvement Center was officially opened for operations on March 1, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.

 

The beef center will develop beef cattle breeds, improve yellow cattle's beef, research and create new technologies, and demonstrate beef cattle breeding technologies.

 

China's Ministry of Agriculture approved the establishment of the center in the Northwest A&F University in August 2007.
