China fishmeal imports increase in January
China imported 48,598 tonnes of fishmeal in January, up 17 percent from December, and a 30 percent fall from the same period last year.
Imports in January 2007 came mostly from:
Chile: 19,409 tonnes;
Peru: 16,103 tonnes;
