Asia Feed Industry: Purchase Propensity Evaluation

Survey Method - Sampling with Quarterly Reporting

Varying degree of economic development and industrialization has influenced the different pace of growth in the feed production of countries across Asia. With three decades of industrial growth, China, Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia have a relatively more developed feed production industry, while in recent years, Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia have seen the emergence of more large scale feed enterprises consequent of rising meat consumption.

While feed production has grown exponentially and the number of large scale feed production enterprises has risen sharply, Asia as whole is still highly dependent on feed additives and supplements from the US and Europe, and a high proportion of the world's feed raw materials are shipped to Asia. An understanding of the purchase propensity and attitude towards supply source of these feed enterprises will help suppliers to plan and allocate resources effectively.

eFL Research Asia Feed Industry Purchase Propensity Evaluation is a survey study involving the collection of data through sampling of feed production enterprises in various provinces of China and across Southeast Asian countries. Quarterly reports give insights into the buying patterns and forecast expenditure for feed inputs, feed additives and supplements, plant equipment and other purchases. Buyers will also be surveyed for their preference of suppliers and source.
