Venezuela's Chavez orders expropriation of Cargill assets

Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez on Wednesday (March 4) ordered the nationalization of Cargill Inc.'s assets, following an inspection of the food company's operations.

A government statement confirmed the decision against the food company shortly after the president's announcement.

Company officials couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
