China's methionine imports decline in January
China's methionine imports in December registered 7,888 tonnes, down by over 60 tonnes from December's.
Average import price in January was US$2.86/kg, up by US$0.03/kg compared with the previous month.
Belgium (4,120 tonnes), Japan (2,122 tonnes) and France (620 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during the month in review.
