China Methionine Weekly: Prices soften on supply rise, poor demand (week ended Mar 2, 2014)
Demand for poultry feed stayed poor as H7N9 bird flu disease remained rampant. Feed producers were reluctant to stockpile inventories while livestock farmers continued to suffer heavy losses. Prices of methionine were therefore under pressure in China.
