Croatia's Veterina receives GMP certificate, seeks poultry vaccine exports

 


Croatian producer of animal health products Veterina, a member of the Genera Group, has been awarded a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certificate, paving the way for the export of its lyophilised vaccines for poultry.


The certificate represents a step towards the company's top goal for this business year, which is to ensure growth in both production and exports, the statement said.


Veterina was granted a GMP certificate for manufacturing of solid dosage forms at the end of January 2009.


"The goal of Genera Group is to have all the processes of pharmaceutical manufacturing approved by GMP certificate and so, to increase competiveness in all segments of business," the statement said.


Genera's animal health division comprises Veterina and Slovenian unit Veterina Plus; the non-pharmaceutical division is made up of Veterina Usluge Ltd., which provides operational support to all other divisions, Veterina Kalinova, which manufactures, develops and distributes agrochemicals and Veterina Nutricius, a maker and distributor of animal feed additives; the group's pharmaceutical division consists of Genera Pharmaceuticals, Genera Analytics and Vitamedera.
