Norway's Cermaq COO resigns

Cermaq on Tuesday (March 2) announced that Steven Rafferty, chief operating officer of farming, will leave the company.

Rafferty is taking a position as CFO of Morpol SA, a salmon processor headquartered in Poland. His last day will be March 31.

Cermaq said it will begin the process of recruiting a new COO immediately.

''Steven Rafferty has made a significant contribution to Cermaq, also in his previous position as CFO, and we wish him well for the future,'' said Geir Isaksen, CEO.
