NCC appoints new board members
 

The National Chicken Council (NCC) has elected new board members, who are from prestigious poultry companies.

Thomas M. Hensley Jr., executive vice president and chief financial officer of Fieldale Farms Corp, has been appointed to the position of secretary-treasurer on the council's board.

NCC has also appointed Archie Schaffer and Donnie Smith from Tyson Foods to its board of directors.

Schaffer is the senior vice president for external relations whereas Smith is group vice president for consumer products.

Clint Rivers, chief operating officer of Pilgrim's Pride Corp., and Bernard Leonard, group vice president of Tyson Foods' foodservice group, has also been elected into NCC's executive committee.
