Methionine price increase announcement by Sumitomo Chemical

Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, announces today that the price of DL-Methionine 99% feed grade will increase to US$ 3.80/kg in China and Asia Pacific regions due to high costs of the raw materials, energy and transportation costs.

In line with the above, the price of Liquid Methionine Analog 88% feed grade will be also adjusted to US$ 3.05/kg accordingly.  This price revision is effective immediately.

All prior agreements and commitments will be honored.
