Trade data for China's 2005 livestock products
China saw a sharp increase in beef and mutton exports in 2005, while exports of pig products slowed, according to a report on the Ministry of Agriculture's website.
The report also indicates that per capital consumption of beef and mutton was only 15 percent of that of pork last year.

The report also stated that China's per capita consumption of eggs was around 0.93 kilogrammes per month from January to November and provided the following trade data for egg products. (Values are in US dollars, B for billion, M for million.)
