Trade data for China's 2005 livestock products

 

 

China saw a sharp increase in beef and mutton exports in 2005, while exports of pig products slowed, according to a report on the Ministry of Agriculture's website.

 

The report also indicates that per capital consumption of beef and mutton was only 15 percent of that of pork last year.

 

The following are tables of export and import data. (Volumes are in tonnes and values are in million US dollars.)
