Corn prices largely stable in China; edged higher at southern consumption regions (Mar 3, 2005)

Corn prices in China were mostly stable early this week, with prices up marginally in some regions.
Prices of corn edged higher in some parts of the southern consumption regions, as the reduced availability of rail transport affected outbound corn delivery.
In the north-east and Yellow / Huai River production regions, corn prices remained generally stable in recent days.
