Swedish pork, beef, milk producers to appreciate excellent times in 2012
Swedish pork, beef and milk producers are forecasted by LRF Konsult to have better times this year.
The company's latest quarter report highlights that pig companies can expect a better market in 2012 than in 2011, which was arguably the worst year for the industry in modern time.
The milk market is believed to have reached its ultimate trough, as production is expected to increase in 2012. Meanwhile, scarcity combined with high demand is expected to benefit Sweden's beef producers.
Vegetable farmers are expected to encounter rougher times, however, with reduced revenues and increased costs forecast on the horizon.
