Avlita ships 157,000 tonnes of grains
Avlita, the stevedoring firm, shipped 157,000 tonnes of grains to five vessels in January 2012, up 13.8 times compared with the same month last year, said the press-center of the company.
In total, the company shipped 396,700 tonnes of general and bulk cargoes in January 2012, a rise of 50.5% compared with January 2011 (263,000 tonnes).
During the reporting month, two berths of Stevedoring company Avlita processed 16 vessels with cargoes, including the large-capacity bulker Trident Navigator of the class Panamax, which was loaded with 61,100 tonnes of wheat (destination - Egypt).
