Japanese oilseed crushing volume fell 10.7 percent in January
                                     


Japanese oilseed crushing volumes fell 10.7 percent in January from a year earlier to 395,975 tonnes, preliminary data from the Ministry of Agriculture showed on Friday.

 

Soy accounted for 48 percent of the total followed by rapeseed at 40 percent.

 

Almost all soy and rapeseed was from abroad and data also showed stocks of soymeal standing at 59,024 tonnes and rapeseed at 28,631 tonnes.
