South Korea's KFA Pusan buys feed wheat, feed corn

The Pusan branch of Korea Feed Association bought feed wheat and feed corn from trading houses Toepfer and Mistubishi, a trader in Seoul said Friday (Mar 2).

KFA bought 55,000 tonnes of optional-origin feed wheat from Toepfer in private negotiation at US$212.20/tonne, to arrive in South Korea on Aug. 15.

It also bought up to 55,000 tonnes of optional-origin feed corn from Mitsubishi in a tender concluded late Wednesday at a price of US$223.19/tonne if the corn is of Chinese origin, or US$229.19/tonne if the corn originates from the U.S.

The price for the corn excludes a second port discharge premium of US$1.5/tonne. The shipment is due to arrive in Pusan or Ulsan ports on July 13.
