China imports 3,558 tonnes of methionine in January
China's methionine imports in January totalled about 3,558 tonnes, down by 194 tonnes from December 2005. Import value reached about US$7.424 million.
In particular, imports from Japan totalled about 1,814 tonnes, up from 364 tonnes in December 2005.
Combined import volume from Germany and Belgium was 956.5 tonnes, down by 1,743.5 tonnes from the combined figure in December 2005.
Imports from the US almost doubled from December to reach 600 tonnes.
