China imports 79.5 percent more fishmeal in January
China imported 69,683 tonnes of fishmeal in January, up 79.5 percent from December 2005, and a 5.7 percent rise over the same period last year.
January's imports came mostly from:
Peru: 56,363 tonnes;
Chile: 3,316 tonnes;
Russian Federation: 2,881 tonnes.
