Japan seeks 105,000 tonnes of wheat in buy tender

 

 

Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries will seek 105,000 tonnes of milling wheat in a buy tender to be held on Thursday, an MAFF official said on Tuesday.

 

The MAFF will buy 45,000 tonnes of US wheat which will be shipped between April 16-May 15, as well as 20,000 tonnes of Canadian wheat and 40,000 tonnes of Australian wheat for May 1-30 shipment, the official said.

 

MAFF will also buy 20,000 tonnes of Australian food barley, the official said.
