China calcium phosphate prices slid on slack demand
Prices moved lower during the period in review.
Even though rail delivery charges increased of late, calcium phosphate prices softened amid slack demand. Towards end of the month, demand showed signs of strengthening but failed to lift the prices.
Producers of calcium phosphate reported that more buyers are making purchases after the price cuts. This, together with the firm prices of phosphate rocks, should lend support to the market in the coming period although feed consumption is expected to be slow.
