Alltech has launched the Poultry iSolutions Programme and the Pig iSolutions computer software model to help boost animal performance.
Poultry iSolutions Programme promises to help broiler integrators and farm producers attain better performance from their feed and animals.
The Alltech Poultry iSolutions Programme, which is part of value-added services for customers, will help to evaluate the performance of poultry operations and benchmark these against primary or breeders standards. It will also help to identify the least performing parameter and offer suggestions for improvement. The Programme contains a standard and an actual performance comparison system and illustrates the physical and financial outcome of poultry breeder, broiler or integrated systems.
The Pig iSolutions computer software model is an innovative PC-benchmarking and solutions programme which aims to provide producers with action plans and management strategies to achieve better performance from their pigs.
Pig iSolutions will help to evaluate the performance of pig operations and benchmark these against the industry standards for overall pig production operations. Modelled from the Alltech Pig Programme, it covers the stages of sow, weaner and grower-finisher pigs. The software will also help to identify the least performing parameter and offer suggestions for improvement.
The two programmes are a multi-faceted approach that combines research-based software with a support structure including regular seminars, workshops, a reference library and technical and sales support. The software component is an interactive, user-friendly computer model that stimulates farm operations and offers Alltech's customers an opportunity to look at the changes in feed costs, feeding programmes and animal performance as well as the financial impact on their operations. The programmes also provide a facility to evaluate the financial impact and benefits of using Alltech products.
