West Java set to export nila fish to Europe
Indonesia's West Java would make its first shipment of nila (tilapia) and patin (white catfish) to Europe and the Middle East early this year, Head of West Java's Fishery Services Darsono told local media.
Darsono added that West Java has the potential for the exports of these fish species.
He added that 150 tonnes of the exports of nila fish were produced by fish breeders in West Java`s districts of Subang, Indramayu, Bogor and other regions. The shipments would go to Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
