China's Shaanxi buys lesser corn for 2011

 

 

According to Shaanxi's local government, the province, located in West China, has purchased 673,000 tonnes of corn in the previous year, down 43.3% on-year.

 

State companies in the province bought 23,000 tonnes of corn, down 80.5% on-year and accounting for 3.4% of the province's total corn purchases.

 

Xi'an City in Shaanxi Province purchased 375,000 tonnes of corn, accounting for 55.7% of the province's total purchases.
