Cherkizovo builds new production units at three pig farms
New production units at its Tambov, Voronezh, and Lipetsk region pig farms have been launched by Russia's Cherkizovo Group, the company said in a statement Monday (Feb 27).
"We plan to complete the construction of the three farms in 2012, including a staged launch of the farms' fattening units," the company said.
By the end of 2013, each farm is scheduled to reach their full capacity of 12,500 tonnes of pork in live weight, Cherkizovo said.
