HK Ruokatalo signs raw material sourcing agreement with Saarioinen

Finnish companies HK Ruokatalo and Ruoka-Saarioinen have signed an agreement to source raw materials for poultry products from each other.

HK Ruokatalo would acquire raw materials for its bone-in chicken leg and split breast products and whole broilers from Saarioinen, which would acquire its boned chicken raw material from HK Ruokatalo.

The intention behind the agreement is to ensure supply of raw materials for the two companies' products.

The final contract is conditional on the deal meeting Finnish competition law.
