From the previous 23.31%, Russia's Unimilk had raised its stake in Kingiseppsky Dairy near Saint Petersburg to 65.55%, the company said on Monday (Feb 27).
Within a month, the firm will propose to purchase the remaining shares it does not already own in the dairy business, Prime said, citing an unnamed spokesperson from the milk producer. No financial details were given.
Unimilk has added that its plans for the plant are still at a development stage. The company merged with French Danone in 2011 and formed the Danone-Unimilk group.
