China's 2007 oilseed output down 4.2 percent on-year

Total oilseed output was 24.61 million tons last year, down 4.2 percent on year, according to China's National Bureau of Statistics Thursday ( February 28, 2008).

The country's autumn grain output totaled 354.2 million tonnes, up 0.6 percent, while summer grain output totaled 115.34 million tonnes, up 1.3 percent on year, the data showed.
