Japan Agriculture Ministry buys 90,000 MT wheat in tender
Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries bought 90,000 metric tons of milling wheat in a tender concluded Friday, according to a MAFF official.
MAFF bought 45,000 tons of US wheat, 25,000 tons of Canadian wheat and 20,000 tons of Australian wheat, all for April shipment.
All cargoes are to be shipped between April 1-30 from their respective origins.
MAFF also bought 20,000 tons of Australian food barley, the official said.
