Dr. Eckel wins Innovation Awards at FIAAP and VICTAM Asia

Dr. Eckel GmbH's new product line Anta^®Phyt MO won the AllAboutFeed Innovation Award at FIAAP 2012, while its Anta^®Phyt Aqua was a close second with the VICTAM Aquafeed Innovation Award.

Dr. Eckel was the first enterprise in Germany with an AGP-free product range, this being European standard nowadays. Facing the growing danger of animal feeds with AGPs elsewhere, Dr. Eckel realised that improving efficiency even further was a main point when taking on this challenge.

Using decades of experience, Dr. Eckel developed a customised combination of special plant extracts with organic acids and other components that were developed for their palatability and efficacy in a wide range of species.

From a sustainability point of view, the Anta^®Phyt concept offers a real addition or alternative to antibiotic growth promoters. Therefore, Anta^®Phyt fits excellently into the FAO strategy "Save and Grow".
