Producers hold choline chloride prices firm in China
Prices remained unchanged during the period in review.
Trade was light over the past few weeks due to the celebration of Chinese New Year. Nonetheless, producers of choline chloride stood firm on prices as the costs of raw ingredients remained high.
Ex-factory prices of 50-percent content choline chloride in Shandong were at RMB5,700-5,800/tonne.
With the crude oil market staying strong, prices of trimethylamine and ethylene oxide will likely stay firm, supporting choline chloride prices to stay at current levels.
