China producers hold vitamin A prices stable amid low inventory pressure

Prices were unchanged over the past few weeks.

Most vitamin A producers reported that they were mainly producing to fulfil previously concluded orders. Hence, even as post Chinese New Year demand was slow, prices of vitamin A stayed stable.

Price quotes of locally produced vitamin A remained at RMB106-111/kg.

Feed consumption will be slow in the coming period due to low animal inventories, hence curtailing the demand for vitamin A in China.
