Indian soy futures may fall on lower Chinese demand
India soy futures may fall in early trade on Wednesday on profit-taking triggered by concern of a fall in Chinese demand but overnight gains in US markets may limit losses, analysts said.
The end of a farmers' strike in Argentina on Tuesday (Feb 24) may also weigh on the markets, analysts said.
Argentina is the world's third-biggest producer of soy and the four-day strike threatened to cut global supplies of the oilseed.
April soy NSBJ9 on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange rose 3.92 percent to Rp2.28 per 100 kilogrammes in the previous session.
