China may import 2.63 million tonnes of soy in February
China is expected to import 2.63 million tonnes of soy in February, according to an initial estimate report by the Ministry of Commerce.
The estimate was based on importer reports during February 1 to 15, and the regular forecast is usually lower than actual amount as it doesn't include all cargoes.
The ministry expected soy imports in March to be 2.7 million tonnes.
China imported 3.03 million tonnes of soy in January.
The ministry issues the estimates twice a month.
