China's seafood product prices rise in January

The wholesale prices of China's seafood products rose by 5.46 percent year-on-year in January, with the prices of ocean and freshwater products up by 1.23 percent and 11.23 percent respectively.

The report was based on a monitoring data on the prices of 49 types of aquatic products from 72 aquatic wholesale markets released by China's fishery authorities.

China's aquatic product wholesale prices rose by 5.28 percent month-on-month in January, with the ocean product prices increasing by 7.29 percent and the freshwater product prices surge by 2.75 percent.
