Taiwan TFMA buys 51,000 MT US wheat from CGI
The Taiwan Flour Millers Association bought 51,000 metric tons of US No. 1 wheat from trading house Columbia Grains International in a tender concluded Thursday, said a Taipei-based trader.
TFMA bought one cargo of milling wheat at prices ranging from $149.23-$183.91 per ton, free on board April 15-30 from the Columbia River District, including Portland.
TFMA also chartered a freight from Hsin Chien Marine at $41.38/ton, for one discharging port at Taichung, the trader said.
