Lacklustre demand drags down China methionine prices
Prices of methionine moved lowerduring the week ending February 23.
Methionine demand remained slack even though more feed millers resumed operation over the week.
Liquid methionine quotes in the general market reduced to RMB22.50-25/kg.
Feed millers will continue to maintain low stockpiles of methionine and other feed ingredients while livestock market is in turmoil.
