Kuwait suspends poultry imports from Canada, France
Kuwait suspended temporarily poultry imports from France and Canada due to the discovery of bird flu in both countries, the state news agency KUNA reports Monday (February 23).
The ban comes after the World Organization for Animal Health, or OIE, announced the discovery of bird flu cases in Canada and France, the agency reports citing a statement from Kuwait's Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources.
