ADDCON announces that its range of silage additives has been approved for organic farming in Germany.

ADDCON's Kofasil Life, Kofasil Life M, Kofasil Lac, Kofasi Lac Granulat, Kofasil Duo and Kofasil S have been listed as approved products for 2009. The products are either based on live microbes or on silage salts.

The range of products is biodegradable, and the silage additives have minimal impact on health and environment, according to Dr. Horst Auerbach, ADDCON's R&D Director.

Beside the new eco-registration, the Kofasil product range has been awarded with the ''DLG Gütezeichen'' which stands for high quality and effectiveness.

ADDCON's silage additives are used in conventional and organic farming in Western and Eastern Europe alike. Recently the company has started its expansion to South Africa and to China. Further expansion is likely to be seen.

ADDCON's silage additives are produced in its production sites in Bittersfeld, Germany and in Porsgrunn, Norway. The ADDCON group has got more than 60 years of experience in the innovation, production and marketing of silage additives.
