Protech Yu to expand export market with integrated fish farm
Malaysian company Protech Yu, a subsidiary of Goldis Berhad, is set to expand its export market for its aquaculture produce as the construction of its new integrated fish farm nears completion.
The company's new integrated fish farm in Tanjung Malim, which costs RM10 million (US$3.1 million), is about to complete construction. The new fish farm will not only process fish, but also provide logistics, and research and development.
Colin Ng, Goldis Berhad's head of corporate investment, said the expansion of export market for its aquaculture products are expected to begin soon.
Ng said the company plans to complete the facility's construction by the end of July 2008 and hopes to see investment returns next year.
