China's Yurun builds hog farm in Jiangsu

China's Yurun Group will invest RMB106 million in a hog farm in Wangji Township, located in Siyang district of Jiangsu province. Representatives from Yurun and the local government of Siyang had signed the agreement recently and construction will begin by late-February. Sitting on a 33-hectare site, the farm can produce of 50,000 heads of hog per year.

As one of the largest meat processors in China, Yurun commands a significant share of the domestic market with its extensive range of products. The company's low temperature meat products are also exported to Russia, Hong Kong and countries in South-east Asia.
