Japan's December compound feed output climbs 1.4% on-year
Japan's overall December compound feed output rose 1.4% against a year earlier to 2.359 million tonnes, rising on-year for the second month in a row, Agriculture Ministry data showed.
Japan's total compound feed output rose on-year in January for the first time since April.
In November, total output of compound feed for animals climbed 3.8% from a year earlier to 2.145 million tonnes.
Japan is the world's biggest importer of corn, the main ingredient in animal feed in Japan. The US is its main supplier of corn for feed use.
