US to prepare risk analysis of animal diseases on South Africa
The USDA has prepared a risk analysis regarding the status of animal diseases in South Africa.
The risk analysis will cover the foot-and-mouth (FMD) disease status in South Africa and related diseases associated with animals and animal products that are exported to the US from South Africa.
The analysis will be used to determine whether to ease restrictions on imports of meat, animal and animal products into the US from South Africa.
