Big Dutchman introduces HydroAir liquid feeding system

Big Dutchman recently broadened its product range by introducing HydroAir, a new liquid feeding system designed to supply 1,000 to 4,500 piglets in the rearing phase.

The company said that the HydroAir and HydroJet systems offer accurate and hygienic controlled liquid feeding for young pigs.

Both systems provide considerable flexibility in the use of low-cost ingredients as feed mixes, which can be prepared from up to 40 different ingredients or components.

Furthermore, due to phase feeding options, the diets can be optimally adjusted to suit the piglets' nutrient requirements at various growth stages.

This technique, the company said, benefits feed intake and daily weight gain.

Hydro Air also allows the immediate supply of large stocks as the same feed recipe can be mixed simultaneously for several valves.

Big Dutchman manufactures a variety of production equipment for poultry and hogs. Based in Vechta, Germany, it is one of the largest livestock equipment manufacturers in the world.
