China lysine prices consolidate lower amid poor buying interest
Lysine prices were lower during the week ending February 17.
Feed millers, whose confidence was dampened by the decrease in feed sales during January's pre-festive season, limited the purchases of feed ingredients including lysine.
Price quotes of 65-percent lysine and 70-percent lysine were in the range of RMB4.20-4.40/kg and RMB4.70-4.90/kg respectively.
Lysine market will likely stay soft due to cautious buying and slow feed consumption result from a diminished animal inventories.
