Lysine prices flat in China amid waning demand

Lysine prices were unchanged during the week ending February 17.

Most feed millers have stockpiled inventories earlier, resulting in limited trade during the period in review. Prices remained stable as producers and traders knew that further price cuts are unlikely to stimulate buying interest with most buyers halting business in preparation for the upcoming holidays.

For imported 98.5-percent lysine, transacted prices were in the range of RMB10.50-10.80/kg.
