Ukraine Jan '09 pork prices up 8.6 percent
Ukrainian January 2009 pork prices have grown to UAH33.3 to UAH44.4 per kilogramme, up 0.4 percent to 8.6 percent against December on 21 regions markets, reported a Ministry of Economics (MOE) representative.
The representative also said pork prices simultaneously sagged to UAH35.77 to UAH50.63 per kilogramme, down 0.9 percent to 4.3 percent as of December on 3 regions markets.
As reported, January 2009 pork maximal price at UAH54.63/kg and minimal price at UAH33.3/kg have been registered correspondingly on the Kyiv and Sevastopol markets.
According to MOE, January 2009 pork fat prices have risen to UAH16.83/kg to UAH38.13/kg, up 0.3 percent to 9.5 percent against December on 19 regions markets.
It also simultaneously dipped to UAH17.43/kg to UAH23/kg, down 1.1 percent to 8.3 percent as of December on 4 regions markets.
