Ceva Sante Animale is introducing COGLAPIX, a new pig vaccine that offers effective protection against Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (App).

The vaccine's protection will improve the earnings and safety for farms as shown in trials conducted in Asia in contaminated farms.

COGLAPIX is a toxoid vaccine containing the three toxoids Apx I, Apx II and Apx III and is also a bacterin. That in turn offers a large range of protection against any type of serotype of App.

The company's research has also selected an optimum level of lipopolysaccharids (LPS) to bring the highest protection and safety. The original formulation of COGLAPIX will guarantee a sharp reduction of all undesirable side effects usually associated with other vaccines against App.
